Best suscriptions services for books

Hey all!

If you are like me, you read more than a dozens books a month. The feeling of getting lost in an amazing story is indescribable. Over the last few years, I switched from physical books to online reading. Since the price of those books rack up fast, I have subscribbed to a few reading suscriptions in the last few years. Here are the pros and cons of each one I tried!

1. Kindle Unlimited

This one is hands down my favorite. The variety of books is really good and you can easily search books in your preferred categories. The application they use to read is very user friendly and you can even switch the brightness and the color of the background. The price is also amazing, at only 9,99$ a month. If you read a lot like me, this service is easily worth it.

However, the biggest con is that best sellers may not be available for Kindle Unlimited and you may need to purchase them. There is unfortunately no suscriptions services that offer every book, so it is why Amazon Kindle Unlimited is still my number one by far.

2. Scrib'd

Scrib'd is my second favorite, and it is because of the variety of content that is on that site. There isn't only books, there is also a huge offer of audio books, which can be really useful for those long rides or when commuting to work or school. The price is affordable too and similar to other sites, at 12,99$ (Canadian dollars) per month.

Once again, not all books are available, specifically new popular releases. I also prefer Kindle Unlimited search engine, as it has more specific sub-categories that allow you to narrow your research for your next book.

3. 24symbols

24symbols is the last on my list. While it is cheaper than the other services, at 8,99$ per month, the variety and quality of the books is inferior. The only pro is really the price.

A lot of the books available are older books and the popular books aren't there. For example, Sherrilyn Kenyon is a very famous author and has writtent dozen of books. However, only 5 books, which aren't part of her most popular series, are available. This website also boosts of having more than 500 000 ebooks available. While that might seem huge, Scrib'd and Kindle Unlimited have at least double that number.

Do you use any other websites? If so, feel free to comment them so I may check them out!
